Welcome to Darroch Remedial Inspections.
We are a completely independent remedial surveying company specialising in all types of dampness, condensation control, timber infestation (woodworm), timber decay (wet rot & dry rot), structural waterproofing (tanking) and cavity wall ties.
As independent surveyors, we are not tied-in to any contractor or manufacturer and are therefore unbiased in our evaluation of problems or the possible necessary remedial works associated with them. Our surveyors are fully qualified with the CSRT (Certified Surveyor in Remedial Treatments) & CSSW (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) and have many years experience in the domestic and commercial sectors.
Often most people's need for a "Timber & Damp Survey" is as a result of a recommendation from a valuation survey by a lender or from a homebuyers report prior to purchasing a property.
Surveys
Many remedial contractors or timber and damp specialists will offer a free survey and report. This is often appealing at an expensive time such as buying a property, however, by instructing Darroch Remedial Inspections you can always be assured of an impartial service.
We do charge a fee, dependant on property size, location and which service or services you require. For this fee, we will attend the property, carry out a full inspection, recommend necessary remedial works (if required) and produce a full written report with diagrams, specifications, photos and estimated budgeting to give you that all important information, which can be critical, prior to a legal commitment to purchase.
Our services and expertise can be useful at times when conflicting advice may have been given, when clarity and resolution is required.
So, whether you need a pre-purchase inspection, tailored specification for a project or a second opinion, call or email today to book your inspection with Darroch Remedial Inspections for a reliable, independent, friendly, bespoke service for all your remedial needs.
We are Freelance members of the PCA (Property Care Association - Formally the BWPDA - British Wood Preserving and Damp Proofing Association), which ensures that all it's members adhere to a strict code of conduct, are qualified and fully insured for the type of inspections and/or works that they carry out.
